If (unlike me) you are a knitter, you may be interested in this excellent pattern, created by my pal Stephanie and named for Ada.
The pattern was also noted by Craft magazine's blog, a nice little nod to Stephanie's talent. Did I mention that she made this pattern up by herself? Stephanie is not a woman who thinks small. Unless you count the size of Ada's head at age 1.
I don't knit either, but that is adorable. And go Ada, with her very own pattern.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the linkage, Nora!
ReplyDeleteI've totally bookmarked the pattern! I haven't tried instarsia before, but this might be the ideal pattern to try it with!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful hat. And little girls should wear more blue, if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I knit, but badly, and I don't really have the time any more. But I'm definitely sending this to my talented friends.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pattern! Great hat, great name, great pattern! I have just a few balls of yarn set aside for summer knitting (The rest are packed away) so hopefully I can dig up what I need to make some of these. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeletei don't knit myself (well, obviously i don't knit MYSELF!) but it does seem to be quite the thing these days. people knitting on commuter trains and alsorts. i fear it may be incompatible with three cats and a dog?
