That reminds me: my grandmother used to refer to the in-stall dispensers as "California style." At some point it was more common to have a single dispenser outside of the stalls, and the the first place she ever encountered in-stall dispensers was in cal. She once proudly proclaimed to me (as we entered the bathroom in question) that the bathroom at her club had the covers available california style.
