Three (non-consecutive) hours of sleep is a wildly insufficient amount for a night.
Good thing they are cute.
Ian, with an admirer
Mira, non-plussed that her parents are zombies
(the above was written with one hand while holding Ian so that he'll drop into deep enough sleep that I can lay him in bed, pump and then pass out.)
Sorry you are so tired. That is incredibly difficult. I keep having my own freak outs so I haven't managed to call and see if I can do anything useful. I will do so very soon! Take care!
ReplyDeletePass out! Pass out! Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! I would say, "It gets easier, I promise," except I don't want to risk annoying someone in a sleep deprived state. How about this: What you are doing is so very hard, but somehow you will get through it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have to repeat what Jen just said this is very difficult and you will survive. My grandmother did it with 6 girls (the last two were twins)...oh, she is a little on the cuckoo side now but we love her... :)
ReplyDeleteI hope they start sleeping better and at the same time, soon.
ReplyDeleteLove that knit hat on the non-plussed one.
Good luck....I hope they start sleeping longer, and at the same time soon!!!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is an awesome hat! Can you let me know who made it?
ReplyDeleteJust to reiterate, this is a very, very hard thing that you are doing, and really, you're doing awesome. Please call if you need anything at all.
PS. We have a spare bed and many fans. Just sayin.
I hope you have air conditioning...it's gonna be a hot one for napping!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!
"good thing they are cute"

Hang in there. Wishing you sleep. xo
